Testimonials

Event: Open Water Swim 2024 – 1km

How did you feel before and after the first open water swim?

First time diving into open water for a swim. Before jumping in, I felt this crazy mix of excitement and nerves. But once I’m out there and done, it’s like a surge of pure exhilaration and accomplishment. There’s this intense sense of adventure like I’m exploring uncharted waters and pushing myself to the limit. Plus, I realize how freezing cold the water can be, I’m so tired and feel dehydrated afterwards. Oh, and don’t even get me started on how insanely salty that seawater is!
